The Waitrose Christmas campaign required a clear, engaging in-store retail marketing solution to communicate festive messaging and highlight seasonal food products. The campaign reflected Waitrose’s values, from product provenance to sustainability, while creating a festive and memorable in-store environment.

The brief called for a solution that balanced creativity, practicality, and sustainability. Materials needed to be durable for heavy Christmas footfall while remaining eco-friendly through recyclability and responsible sourcing. The design also had to be easy for in-store teams to install and update, and translate effectively from concept to in-store execution without losing visual impact or disrupting retail operations.

Built around geometric 3D forms, vibrant colours, and graphic halftones. We created a distinctive and immersive in-store experience, featuring a series of hanging 3D snowflakes and Christmas trees, designed to bring depth and movement into the space. Supporting graphics enhanced the overall atmosphere, creating a cohesive and engaging customer journey throughout the store.
To ensure alignment and confidence before production, we provided a full 3D virtual walkthrough along with full-scale mock-ups. This allowed stakeholders to visualise the final execution and understand how customers would experience the displays in-store.

They called out in particular the Christmas Shop arch that was a new addition this year I think it looks amazing, thanks so much for spending the time on testing it to make sure it was easy to implement and sturdy!
